Isidora Fish Tavern — on Marathon Beach since 1959
In a place overlooking the entire Euboean Gulf, next to the renowned Tomb of Marathon, right on the seafront of Marathon Beach, we created in 1959 a restaurant–fish tavern seating 250 guests.
Our Story
Isidora began as a family fish tavern right on the sand. From then until today it remains a gathering place for those who love fresh fish, the sea and unpretentious hospitality.
Under Mrs Isidora’s care, the venue grew with the area — always keeping the character of an authentic seaside tavern.
The Venue & Garden
Wanting to give the area a different character, we created a rich garden full of every kind of flower and tree. This abundance is truly unique in the greater Mesogeia area.
Our family atmosphere combined with homemade food offers complete relaxation by our clean sea. The venue is also ideal for events — christenings, weddings, corporate dinners or family celebrations, with a view of the sea.
Our Kitchen
Homemade dishes with flavours from Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, and the freshest fish from the Greek sea. Enjoy fresh fish from our boat, by the waves.
Stay by the Sea
Next to the fish tavern are the Casa Blue Suites — private suites so you can enjoy your stay by the sand and the sea, just steps from your table.
